1. How do I make reservations? Can I cancel/change reservations if I need to?

          The contact information can be found on the front page of the website. Email us at escape2goca@gmail.com for a quote and to book an engagement. Free cancellations will be accepted up to 1 week before the scheduled booking. Cancellations made within 1 week of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit (50% of the total fee). Because of the nature of a mobile business and the use of sensitive electronic equipment, Escape2Go reserves the right to cancel in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances; in this case, full refund would be granted. As we are both full-time educators, we have limited availability. mostly on the weekends and holidays. Be sure to book as early as possible to reserve your spot!

2. What is an "escape room?"

          Escape rooms are a new and increasingly popular form of puzzle-based entertainment. In a typical escape room scenario, guests must solve a series of puzzles, riddles, and games to fulfill a stated objective (retrieve an object, "escape" the room, etc.).

3. Am I really locked in a room?

          While we provide the illusion that our guests are locked in, in reality the outside doors of the trailer will NEVER be locked, for safety reasons. If you find yourself feeling claustrophobic or "trapped," simply step outside until that feeling goes away. Feel free to join your team when ready.

4. How many people can I fit in the trailer at once?

          The trailer measures 20 feet long by 8.5 feet wide by 8 feet tall. That size best accommodates 4-6 players at a time. 

5. Is there an minimum age to play the escape room game?

          For the most part, there is no minimum age to participate in the Escape2Go escape rooms; none of our rooms will have adult oriented themes unless expressly stated. Children as young as 7 or 8 could definitely contribute to the success of an escape room team. In addition, we have created themes specifically designed for younger children; these would be appropriate for youngsters as young as 5. In this case, an adult would be required to be in the trailer with the team to act as chaperone and guide; a parent or guardian would need to sign a waiver AND be on the premises while their child is inside the trailer for children younger than 8 (with the exception of school events). 

6. How much does it cost to play?

          Escape2Go is booked for private events. so each booking is quoted based on number of games booked, distance traveled, extras desired, etc. Please see our pricing page for more information.

7. Is it scary?

          Depending on the theme and the individual, the scare factor on a scale of 1-10 will range from a 1 (not scary at all) to around a 7 (kinda creepy but not gory/scary.) Escape2Go's goal is not to scare our guests, but rather to provide a fun and safe alternative to the mundane and boring party and team-building experience.

8. Will there be actors inside the trailer with us? Will anyone jump out to scare or touch us?

          No, the only ​​​people inside the trailer with you will be your party. No Escape2Go employee will be inside the trailer, nor will we try to intentionally scare you in anyway. We will be monitoring your progress from outside the trailer, using our security cameras located inside the trailer; this will allow us to send your group hints should they be required.

9. Do I need to sign a liability waiver? What about my minor children/party guests?

          Yes, every guest who enters the trailer must sign the liability waiver. These can be emailed prior to the event or they can be signed in person at the event; you can also download the waiver here. In addition, minors will need to have waivers signed by a parent or guardian. Any group with a child under the age of 12 must have at least one adult over 18 to act as chaperone and guide. In addition, any child under the age of 8 must have their parent/guardian on the premises while their child is inside the trailer.

10. Is the trailer wheelchair accessible?

          The back ramp to the trailer can be opened to allow wheelchairs access to the trailer. The interior door measures 30 inches; however, the inside of the trailer could feel crowded with something as large as a wheelchair + 5 participants inside. Please take this into consideration when booking your event.

11. How far away from the Visalia area could we book the trailer?

          Currently, Escape2Go is only operating within the Visalia city limits and Tulare County. Future plans include expanding our service area; stay tuned for further information.

12. What should I wear in the trailer? Should I bring anything special with me?

          There is no special gear, including clothing, required to play the Escape2Go escape room games. Casual clothes, including shorts, are perfectly acceptable. The trailer is air conditioned and/or heated to maintain comfortable temperatures while enjoying the experience. While it may be tempting to bring cell phones and other electronic devices into the trailer for help, we ask that these items be left in your pocket/purse during the duration of the experience. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY PHOTOS INSIDE THE TRAILER; we do not want to ruin the game experience for future guests. Guests will have an opportunity to take team pictures outside the trailer when your game has concluded.

13. Can we bring food or drinks into the trailer? Alcohol?

          No. Food or drinks, including alcohol, are not allowed in the Escape2Go trailer. Guests who appear to be intoxicated will not be allowed to participate in the escape room experience; this is for the safety of the other guests as well as the employees and the trailer itself.

14. Can we bring pets into the trailer?

          Unfortunately, no. Pets or animals of any kind are not allowed in the Escape2Go trailer, with the exception of service animals.

15. What other services can we book through Escape2Go for my party?

          Check the website in the future for possible additions to the E2G menu!

16. Can we book multiple escape room themes for the same event?

          Yes, we can bring multiple themes to your event; be sure to mention this when booking your event. An additional fee of $50 per extra theme will be charged. In addition, please understand that it may take as long as 30 minutes to "break down" one theme and reset the trailer to the next theme.

17. How can I experience Escape2Go escape rooms without having to book the entire trailer for myself?

          Escape2Go will be at various festivals, farmer's markets, and fairs throughout the Central Valley when available. Individuals can experience the Escape2Go game at one of these events. Please see our social media posts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) for information regarding where we will be.

18. Are the escape room themes listed the only ones available? Do they ever change?

          Escape2Go has a "menu" of escape room themes, any number of which may be offered at any given time. From time to time, E2G will change the available themes, so check back often to preview some of the other themes we may feature.

19. How much space do I need to provide for the escape room trailer? 

           The trailer is 20 feet long, with an additional tongue of approximately 4 feet. In addition, our "electronics booth" is set-up to the rear of the trailer, requiring an additional 6 feet of space, for a total of 30 feet of space. In addition, in order to maneuver the trailer into position, we require 100-150 linear feet of room so we can tow the trailer into position.
